Engineer Giuseppe Mastropieri has been appointed as Expert Evaluator in the programme “Horizon Europe 2021-2027” by EISMEA (European Innovation Council and SME Executive Agency), born from the new merger of EIC (European Innovation Council) and EASME (Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises). This Agency will be in charge of new investments, providing support for the small-medium entrerprises development and scaling-up.
After the nomination as expert for the “Horizon 2020”, Mastropieri will give his contribution on the programme “Horizon Europe” for EISMEA, that encourages research and innovation, with a budget of 95,5 billions of Euros as well as competiveness of the start up in the global market.
Mastropieri states: “This new sinergy of the distribution of funds for small and medium sized companies, will be essential to accelerate modernisation and cutting-edge technologies, projects implementation leading to technical development and the Green Economy’s growth.
I strongly believe that Horizon Europe is a valid tool to optimise investments and promote circular economy and the achievement of sustainable goals. The funds raised for deployment in research and innovation, will have an outstanding impact on European industrial development and green transition”.
